Best of the Alps brings the pioneering spirit of the Alps to New York

On September 23, 2026, Best of the Alps will bring the spirit of the European Alps to New York City for a special event celebrating its 30th anniversary and unveiling a new chapter in its story.
Hosted at the D&L Rooftop in the heart of Manhattan, the evening will gather media, travel professionals, partners and guests around the nine iconic destinations that make up Best of the Alps: Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Courmayeur, Crans-Montana, Davos Klosters, Kitzbühel, Lech Zürs am Arlberg, Megève and St. Anton am Arlberg.

Under the theme “Meet the Pioneers”, the event will offer an immersive journey into the Alps, showcasing what has united these destinations for three decades: a remarkable heritage, a strong culture of hospitality and a pioneering spirit that continues to shape the future of Alpine tourism.

Throughout the evening, guests will experience the Alps through spectacular four-season imagery, sounds, flavours and stories. A dedicated “Pioneering Objects Trail” will highlight emblematic objects from the nine destinations, each revealing a piece of Alpine history and innovation. Signature cocktails and Alpine specialties will bring another dimension to the journey.

A highlight of the evening will be the unveiling of the new Best of the Alps identity and positioning, accompanied by the premiere of the new brand film. Thirty years after its creation, Best of the Alps is reaffirming its ambition: to bring together destinations that share the same commitment to excellence while constantly reinventing the Alpine experience.

The New York event will also provide opportunities for exchanges between representatives of the destinations, international media and travel professionals.
From heritage to innovation, from winter sports to four-season experiences, Best of the Alps will bring to New York a vision of the Alps that is both timeless and constantly evolving.
