Toquicimes
Taste the Alps
Every autumn, Megève becomes a meeting place for lovers of Alpine gastronomy. From 16 to 18 October 2026, Toquicimes brings together chefs, producers, artisans, culinary professionals and food enthusiasts to celebrate the products, traditions and expertise that shape mountain cuisine.
More than a food festival, Toquicimes offers an immersion into the culinary culture of the Alps. Tastings, demonstrations, encounters and experiences invite visitors to discover local products, traditional recipes and contemporary creations, while meeting the people who keep this Alpine culinary heritage alive.
At the heart of the event are the men and women behind mountain gastronomy. Chefs share their creativity, producers showcase the richness of the Alpine terroir, and artisans demonstrate skills passed down through generations. The festival creates a place for exchange where tradition and innovation naturally come together.
Toquicimes is also designed to be accessible to everyone. Families, passionate food lovers and curious visitors can take part in activities, tastings and encounters throughout the village. It is an opportunity to understand where Alpine products come from and how local expertise transforms them into a distinctive mountain cuisine.
The event also reflects Megève’s long-standing relationship with gastronomy and the Alpine art of living. Beyond the festival, the village offers a rich culinary scene combining traditional mountain recipes, local produce, contemporary cuisine and fine dining. Megève Tourism describes Toquicimes as a showcase for its farmers, terroir and artisan expertise.
Held in the heart of autumn, Toquicimes offers another way to experience Megève. Golden landscapes, village life and Alpine flavours come together for a weekend that celebrates both the destination and the culture surrounding it.
In Megève, the mountains are not only explored. They are tasted.
