The Best of the Alps route recommendations: Route II

Munich - Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Seefeld - Kitzbühel - Cortina - Munich

From Munich we can either head towards Starnbergersee through Oberammergau or via Staffelsee to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The journey then continues via Mittenwald to Seefeld. The drive to Kitzbühel takes us past Innsbruck and the Swarovski World before arriving in Wörgl and, through the Brixental Valley, towards Kitzbühel. From Kitzbühel the route leads over the Pass Thurn to Mittersill and on to the Felbertauern tunnel. Via Matrei, Linz and Toblach we finally arrive in Cortina. From Cortina we drive through the Dolomites and South Tyrol and via Brenner and Innsbruck back to Munich.
